Well, like it or not, our summer holidays are over and the new school year has just begun. I hope you had a great time and lots of opportunities to chill out the way you like most. For me, this summer was really full of adventures and I really had no time to feel bored. I also managed to make some of my dreams come true, and have plenty of unforgettable memories… 
Eating ‘pierogi’, a Christmas tree and some hay under a table cover is something that every Polish person thinks of when it comes to Christmas traditions. Everyone seems more friendly and even all these cold days don’t really buffet us then. But have you ever wondered about other countries’ customs, the things they do during this special time of the year? No? Then let me tell you about some of them! 
We’re all living from Monday till Friday, waiting for the weekend. But not for all of us Saturday is a day off. For the last few weeks we have participated in workshops called WropenUp. They were mostly about working in groups, talking and practicing English. 
Winter break gave me a lot of free time and I could finally get my well-deserved rest and enjoy watching some movies. I’ve always been interested in dinosaurs. I’ve also been a huge, even a little obsessive “Jurassic Park” fan for many years now and I perfectly remember seeing every single part of the movie for the first time. I’m sure most of you know the whole series as well. Anyways, today I’d like to tell you about the newest movie called “Jurassic World” because I think it’s the best of all of them and I immediately got absolutely addicted to it. It was directed by Colin Trevorrow and the cast includes Bryce Dallas Howard, Chris Pratt, Nick Robinson and Ty Simpkins. 
Winter time is usually hard for most people, as lots of us prefer summer – you know when it’s warm outside and we have a long summer break. It turns out to be even worse, when it comes to people who like different types of outdoor sports. Seriously, can you imagine doing something like street workout when you can’t even get your hands out of your pockets or take off your gloves because it’s so freezing outside? Yeah, me neither.
I wasn’t born here, in WrocÅ‚aw. My hometown is a little town in south-eastern Poland. But WrocÅ‚aw was my love at first sight. I came here many years ago and immediately felt at home here. I don’t know if it was more because of people who live here, or due to the beauty of the town itself. I just knew I wanted to make my own home here. And so I did 🙂 Archives
